Hot Dog! What a New Year!

A belated Happy New Year to you, dear reader! Whether you're a new visitor or returning, I'd like to say hello! With a New Year and new goals, I'm trying to keep y'all more informed on goings on.
First up in the update circuit, last December, I returned to the world of Paw Patrol as Santa Claus in A Paw Patrol Christmas! This was a delightful little adventure and it was nice to return as the jolly ol' man in red!

Next, I had the pleasure of lending my voice to the animated film, Charlie the Wonderdog! It was an exciting time, it's my first theatrical project and I hope for more!

The crew at ICON Creative Studio invited me to the Vancouver premiere, it was fun getting an early peek at the film! If you've seen the trailer, then you've seen 1 of the 2 characters I portray! You can hear me as the Food Vendor and Stinky, one of Puddy's Cat Henchmen...or Henchcats? You decide!

In non-voice acting news, I've been trying to to improve my skills as an artist, I'm slooowly learning about film making, and photography. If I could utilize some of these skills to be better at video that'd be cool, but otherwise, I'm enjoying the behind-the-scenes learning journey. We're definitely in some rather...interesting times as of late, and art is vital to keep us all sane, so I figured I'd chase something new and help with my motivation.
In the coming weeks, expect a new video release, a bit further down the line, I'll get a shiny, new video essay out! I admit, this should have been released much much earlier, but between loss of motivation, the need to re-edit due to updates on the subject at hand, and general life speed bumps, things have taken a detour.
For 2026 and beyond, I really want to expand my projects, I may even get a bit experimental. I think what's really going to help is abandoning perfectionism; I can still keep quality and craft something, but obsessing over the tiniest details has been an ever-scuttling, aggressive speed bump that's derailed me more than once. There's a beauty in having an idea and just letting it spread its wings.
Thanks for sticking with me through this blog entry and my career! I wont let you down. Here's to the future, I hope your 2026 is fresh and gives you what you need. Let's all chase those dreams, there's no better time to start than now!
Until next time folks!
